Pay as You Go HR Manager
One of our clients was looking to reduce overhead costs generally within the business and made a decision to engage with us on a Pay as You Go basis.
They were keen to ensure that the business was complying with employment legislation and that the HR service delivered was professional and commercial, yet friendly and cost effective.
Initially we carried out an in-depth HR Health Check to improve HR systems and processes, which included updating contracts and various policies and procedure. We placed a dedicated consultant on site on a 3 part day per week. Our consultant is, in effect, their HR Manager. She understands the needs of the business and provides staff and managers with up to date HR advice, joins management team meetings, advises on and implements new HR processes. There are other consultants in the team who cover holidays and support with various projects such as a restructuring and recruitment.
A manufacturing client with no in-house HR Manager had a difficult disciplinary issue they required support with.
A Sereniti consultant aided a timely and impartial on-site disciplinary investigation. After reviewing all relevant documentation and information, they prepared interview questions for the investigating manager and made notes on their behalf in the meetings. They helped compile the investigation report and advised on recommendations. Sereniti then offered hands-on advice for the line manager conducting the disciplinary hearing and sat in on the disciplinary meeting, ensuring that the correct process was followed at every step. Disciplinary meeting notes were made by the Sereniti consultant and a confirmation letter was also drafted.
Employee Engagement Survey
A client in West Yorkshire contacted us to help design and implement an employee survey to understand training and development needs.
One of our experienced employee engagement consultants met with senior members of the client team to understand the objectives of the survey and then went on to design a bespoke questionnaire to be completed by all employees. The consultant provided a timeline for the project and communication briefings at key stages. An online system was used to collate responses and the consultant then assisted with compiling the findings in a methodical, easy to communicate manner. Action plans from the findings were recommended and agreed. A Sereniti consultant with Learning and Development expertise then delivered training sessions for various levels of staff, for example presentation skills and the psychology of sales training, as a direct result of information from the employee survey.
An SME in South Yorkshire requested the support of an experienced HR Consultant to advise and offer hands on support with a restructuring project.
One of our high experienced consultants met with the client to understand the business case for the project. The consultant then advised the client of the process and timescales involved for consultation and communication. The Sereniti consultant provided all necessary documentation, in addition to on-site support in meetings with affected employees. Outplacement support was also provided by another member of the Sereniti team.
